Welcome to Dar Al-Fatwa
" In The Name of Allah, The Benevolent, The Merciful"Dar Alfatwa UK (DAUK) is a registered Not For Profit organisation representing Dar Alfatwa Lebanon in the UK. Our mission is to create a harmonious environment and promote the enhancement of human values, spiritual attainment and faith in God among people in general and the Lebanese British Sunni Community in particular. DAUK intends to provide the community with a focal point for a range of spiritual, social, cultural, educational and training activities.
Dar Alfatwa does not endorse any form of extremist ideology and it opposes any potential spreading of such ideology within it’s constituency. Dar Alfatwa makes the point that all acts of evil carried out in the name of Islam should be condemned and countered by all available means.

Vision
After long and profound deliberations, a group of skilled and qualified individuals, led by Shaykh Haytham Tamim, embarked upon establishing DAUK. Through DAUK’s leadership we will endeavour to cultivate good character and a profound understanding of Islam to help build a more interactive and cohesive community. DAUK will work to raise the level of Islamic awareness in the community, which will help protect community members from the ramifications of mischief and transgression. The policies and guidelines of Dar Alfatwa are derived from the Qur’an, the Sunnah: sayings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the teachings of Islam according to true undisputed scholars. DAUK will establish a community centre that will become the focal point for a range of spiritual, social, cultural, educational and training activities for the community. The community centre will also contain a prayer hall and a school.
